Meet Maeve

Maeve McBride (she/they) is an educator, erotic and BDSM coach, sexological herbalist, event producer, and community organizer, who has been exploring the intersections of kink, sacred sex, plants, and personal alchemy for more than 20 years.

A fun, sensual and compassionate switch-witch, Maeve enjoys empowering folx of all persuasions to work towards their unique health, erotic and sexual goals. She teaches classes and consults with clients who are looking to explore and break down their barriers to sexual, sensual, and kinky pleasure. Her process involves combining evidence-based teaching methods, anatomy geekery, goal setting, mind-body-spirit trauma healing techniques, communication tools, the use of plant preparations, a sense of playfulness, experimentation and exploration, in a non-judgmental environment.

Maeve works with individuals, couples, groups and presents classes in-person, online, and at conferences. Her goal is always to help clients and students to assemble a toolkit of things that work for their own unique needs. She provide guidance and presents tangible tools and information that can be used over and over to help folx connect more deeply with themselves, with their desires and with their partners, heal trauma and shame, and empower individuals to live more embodied and pleasure-filled lives.

Group Classes & Workshops

Private Sessions & Coaching

Group classes are great, but sometimes folx are in need of a more personalized approach to assist them in their journey. If this is what you are looking for, Maeve offers private coaching sessions, private "tasting" experiences in impact & energetic sensation play, and private classes in a variety of subjects. These are offered to individuals and small groups at a rate of $250 an hour for 1 hour, and $200 per hour for bookings of 2 hours or more.

Erotic & Kinky Tarot Sessions

Maeve has been studying tarot since childhood and reading professionally for more than 10 years. Her favorite readings are ones that help folx explore their blocks to pleasure and desires in and providing insight as to how you can move forward and manifest your kinky best life.

If you would like to book a tarot reading with Maeve, her rate is $160 per hour with a half hour minimum. In person sessions in Portland, Oregon as well as virtual sessions are available.

Events

Maeve is proud to be Lead Dungeon Monitor and Co-Host of 50 Shades of Shut the Fuck Up, a femme and them-dom event at Sanctuary club in Portland with Mistress Viola Parker. Founded by Viola in 2017, 50 Shades takes place on the fourth Thursday of every month at Sanctuary club in Downtown Portland. Together, they create a safe, fun and immersive experiences for folx to explore and play in a safe femme-led atmosphere with performances, kink tasting experiences, and more.

On the first Sunday of each month, Maeve hosts Popping Questions: A kinky team pub quiz, tasting event, and play party at Sanctuary. This event is perfect for folx who are new to exploring the kink scene and experienced members of the scene alike. Teams compete in a modified British-style pub quiz for sexy fun prizes, but most importantly, fun and bragging rights! Each month has a themed quiz with a wide variety of round styles from general trivia, to puzzle rounds, name that tune and more. After the quiz the party is open for mingling, dancing, receiving a tasting in impact, rope, and other BDSM play from vetted tops, as well as the option to play and scene using the numerous play spaces in the club.

Resources

Maeve teaches a variety of classes and will periodically post resources to things she likes and links to handouts she creates. Creating class handouts is her primary kink and brings her much joy to share them.
